Hand-Knotted Rugs

Each piece in this collection is built thread by thread on a traditional loom, a slow process that rewards patience with a density and drape no machine has yet matched. The result tends to settle into a room rather than merely cover it, and, kept reasonably clean, improves in character with the years rather than against them.
