What we collect

Placing an order requires the details needed to deliver it: name, address, email, phone number and the contents of the order. We do not collect or hold card details on this site. Browsing the site generates technical data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, gathered through the cookies described below.

Who Sees This Data

Couriers receive whatever is needed to deliver your rug. Our payment provider receives what is required to process payment. Hosting and analytics services handle data on our behalf, under contract. We do not sell personal data, to anyone.

Wovenhall does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. Personal data collected through our store is used solely to process orders, arrange delivery and provide customer support, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) governing personal data handling in Canada.

How Long We Retain It

Order records are kept for as long as accounting law requires, then deleted. Account details remain until you close the account. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

As a Canadian retailer, Wovenhall processes personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. Under this framework, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, withdraw consent to certain processing, and request deletion of your information where retention is no longer required for the purpose it was collected.

Security

Wovenhall does not collect, process or store any bank card or payment card data, as checkout is limited exclusively to Cash on Delivery, paid directly to the courier upon receipt, and Direct Bank Transfer, with account details provided in the order confirmation. No card numbers, expiry dates or security codes are ever requested or transmitted through our systems.
