Verification Before Dispatch

Before any rug leaves our workshop, someone runs a hand across the full surface checking for tension inconsistencies, uneven pile height and dye variation that wouldn't show up clearly in a photograph.

The Materials Being Checked

Wool grade, cotton foundation tension and jute backing weight are all assessed at this stage, since a small flaw in any one of them tends to show up as a bigger problem once the rug is walked on daily.

• Quality check: Pile density and edge finish are checked by hand before packaging.
• Traceability: Each batch is linked back to the cooperative that wove it.

Why This Matters for Daily Use

A rug that passes this kind of check tends to keep its shape and color evenness through years of ordinary household use, rather than showing thin patches or faded strips within the first year.
